This keeps getting better and better...or not

You read on Unky Duck's blog that I was bitten by a dog. Took a big chomp on the back of my right leg. Not fun. We still have not been reunited with our luggage. We are to move from Tamarindo *paradise* today but have received no information about when or how. \none.

We don't have a clue what we are supposed to do. \it is verrrrry frustrating. Had a nice birthday party for Clark last night though.

Will check in again as soon as we have a connection again.

Tune in as the saga of the luggage continues.

We are alive.

Well, I wrote a a blog as soon as we arrived and it didn't download. (I've since seen that my attempts on our first night partially made it - I'll keep them there to add character to the blog)Then we've had no internet for 3 days. Ay Yi Yi. You can imagine how happy Unky Duck and I are now that we have contact. As a birthday present today for Unky Duck who turned 51 in fabulous Tamarindo Costa Rica - we have internet liftoff.

I'm sure he will fill you in on more details along with photos.

For me I would like to say thanks to all the people here for being so cooperative when faced with typhoons, plane delays, lost luggage, customs , and no sleep. They've been real troopers - this kind of trip is definitely not for everyone.

And to you guys back home - we are thinking of you fondly and hoping you are enjoying YOUR well-deserved holiday.

Ti amo mucho!!

The message we've been waiting for (almost)

Received an e-mail from SCN today. Joanne indicates that it's been really busy there since our meeting a few weeks ago. She says she will have some good news for us shortly and then says (I hope) in brackets - I take that to mean she hopes it's shortly - not that she hopes it's good news.

She says she just needs some internal stuff signed off and then will be giving us a formal offer.

Woot Woot!

This will qualify us for the tax credits and get us well underway for the spring episodes.

Phew.

Party at P's

Looks like it'll be a full house - the whole SRWT team (except for Robin of course) will descend on the Exec Prod's house on Tuesday next. I wonder if he knows what he's got himself into.

Had a peek at Egypt today - Wow. It is really fantastic. Who'd have thought that waterpark would turn out so great?

Denise is motoring on NZ 1 & 2 with occasional interruptions from the retirement video that's becoming an epic thanks to my interference.
Oh so sorry D!

Denise is also working on graphics and popups. The shows will be very nicely dressed now.

New episode guide written - sounds quite impressive even if I do say so myself. Too long to publish here but if ya wanna copy let me know.

I know -I'm way behind.

Out of town again - but the SRWT wheel does keep turning in my absence.

I spoke with SCN today and they said they've been overwhelmed and too busy to get to the proposal. We had a nice friendly chat and she said she'd try to get to it next week but it was going to be another bad week and couldn't promise. I'm really not worried.

Joseph has been talking to Kaleidoscope. Nothing firm yet but there's interest. He wants me to send an updated 13 episode listing. I'll get to that tomorrow.

Editing rolling along. Shea will be doing some voicing tomorrow or Sunday.

Not a big update - but - don't want anyone to think we're just letting things slide.

Costa Rica is all in place. Allan's finalized permits and carnets. All is ready.
