Another drum roll moment...

Packed up and heading for the Indian Embassy. Either we get good news - that we're able to leave today or less good news that we're leaving tomorrow. If we're not able to go til tomorrow we're going to visit the Batu Caves - supposed to be really a great attraction. So...we're intending to make lemonade out of the lemons if need be - but we sure hope we're going to be on our way today.

  • Hey Laura and everyone else on the SRWT crew! I tried posting a comment earlier but for some reason it didn't work. I'm trying again and hopefully this one will go through! Glad to hear everythings worked out with the visas for India - super exciting! Kath - glad to hear everythings going well in NYC. Things back at the office are going well, super busy but good. Just a little quiet. Such a change compared to how things usually are at the home base. And D - did you ACTUALLY drink a beer?? Haha. I laughed so hard when I read that on UD's blog. Anyway, continue being safe and have a fantastic time! Can't wait to read more!

  • hey amanda glad things are well at home
    also to the swrt gang you have Laur's guardian angel watching over you so all will be well-I know it
    my gang is off at the Museum of Natural Histroy and I'm off to catch up to them for lunch at Serendipity-if you didn't see the movie this will have no significance to you.
    Doug got Matt Damon's pic at our hotel over the weekend but so far no other celeb sitinsg
    B has discovered Forever 21 so we might just spend all the rest of our time there
    our "hostel" is really funky-in a great neighbourhood in walking distance to both shopping & fab little restaurant. We can see the empire state building from our front window.
    Love to all. Updates may be few and far between as the hostel doesn't have internet access.

    hope Laura's lack of updates doesn't mean she's totlly stressed
    tues in New York-it is going up to 76 so we're off to Central Pk for the day
    was at GMAC this am-what a bust. yesterday was Hilary Clinton & tommorrow JLo. Today some author of a parenting book
    we've got RENT tonite-B is so pumped
    went up the Empire State Bldg. last night which turned out to be B's highlight-who could predict
